CCW CERTIFICATION COURSE

Service Description

This is an 8-hour classroom course followed by a 30-minute range shooting qualification. Learn and understand the law, the purpose of a permit, deescalation and conflict avoidance, basic firearms operations and more. Arrive prepared: - Class will begin promptly at 9 AM. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. -You will be required to bring lunch and supply your own firearm, ammunition, eye and ear protection. -Range fees are not included in the price of class. $5 per shooter will be due upon entry to the range. - Please keep all firearms inside a proper range bag, lock box, or the manufacturer's box that it came in. -Please leave all firearms inside your locked vehicle for the duration of the classroom portion of the class. -Please wear proper clothing. This includes closed toed shoes and high cut tops that will keep hot brass from falling down your shirt. - Because the shooting qualification is outdoors, class is weather dependent. We will contact you in the event that class needs to be postponed. - Be prepared for the weather. Bring water, hats, sunscreen etc. for hot days, and jackets for cold ones! Class will begin at 9:00 am sharp at 2305 Dickerson rd. (L.A.G. Tactical front office) We will then drive to the Carson Rifle and Pistol Range for the brief shooting qualification. While not required, we recommend taking our CCW PREP class before signing up for this course.
